Joe,
I met your Dad the about a year before you were born, when we both became members of the Air Force Reserves flying the AC130A Gunships.
We became fast friends and both were excited as we were anticipating new births in our families.
When you were born, I vividly remember how proud your dad was and how happy he was to have a son. We celebrated together when, less tha five weeks later, my wife had our son.
Throughout the years we often shared stories of our sons and their developments through life.
It was fun during the times when our families got together for the hiking trips to the Carolinas and other occasions.
When I look at my son now I will always be a little more appreciative for my blessings.
I have always believed that it is better to lived a truly worthy life for a short time than to have lived a long life and not have been true to yourself.
God Speed Joe!
