I only knew Joey for a couple of years, but those couple of years happened to be a lot of fun and Joe was a constant contributor. Joe is cool and there's no way around it. You look up cool in the dictionary and ther is Joe... The last time I saw Joe was several years ago at a beautiful right reef break in Costa Rica called Playa Negra. It was completely random, we were both on seperate trips and bumped into each other on a day of perfect surf. It seems like we've all had a perfect day of surf with Joey at some time or another. He must have riden a hole lot of good waves. I've lost contact with nearly everyone from high school and am constantly wondering how everyone is doing. I am happy in this increadibly sad time that Joe's parents put this site together so that it might bring his friends together. If anyone wants to talk you can reach me any time at 760-518-6605.
