I cant believe that he has been taken from all of us. he had such a great influence on everybody he met, as is evident in all the quotes from so many friends. I cant forget the first time I met him in Charleston, and then again when he came to Newcastle. Great surfer, great bloke, great memories. I lost contact a bit with Joe over the years as I was travelling, but I got to see him again for a night when I was back in Oz, so I am glad of that. You may be gone, mate, but you will never be forgotten. Charge hard up there, and there will be many waves dedicated to you down here. << View Memories |
