November 3, 2002 4:28 AM Although I didn't grow up with Joe or start my college years with him, he was a great friend to some of my closest friends; Brandon RIch, Doug Pertz, and several other Winter Park buddies. Every time I hung out with him and shook his hand, there was an automatic sense of peace and comfort that vibrated from his presence and existence. Joe, you will still be missed greatly even by those people who weren't priveleged enought to truly know you and what you're all about.
