Joey was the most laid back guy in the world. He just took yhings as they were one day at a time. I surfed with Joey on the beaches of Florida and in Australia. Joey had style in and out of the water. Cool calm and collected. One time when he was out partying with us in downtown Orlando during the weekend of the surf expo two years ago on a short stint back in the US. We were all at Barbarella (Me, Brad, Joey, John and a few others). It was the funniest thing that happened that night that will always makes me laugh when I think about it. We were all sitting up at the bar having a cold one while watching all the ravers dancing all goofy on the dance floor. There were two ravers that were dressed up like kung foo masters in their karate scrubs doing all these Bruce Lee dance moves. It was hilarious! But, the funniest thing was when the kung foo guy did this one crazy move when the music hit a pause, and just like in the video game mortal combat, Joey shouts out "Wow" "Fatality!", and we all just fell over laughing..... He was agood guy, and I wish I could've knew him better than I did, but my heart and my prayers go out too all in O-town, Oz, Jax, or anywhere and everyone Joey was aquainted with or in his presence throughout his life and his travels. You will be missed. RIP. In Loving Memory of Joey Milligan, forever..........
