It’s ok to work hard, as long as you play harder."

I have so many good memories of Joe that will always put a smile on my face. I met him in Australia this summer and even though I was only there for three months he became a best friend to me in that short period of time. We had the best times surfing and partying together. I remember one day this summer when Burleigh Heads was going off and he looked at me and said, “Man, I don't even want to think about getting out of the water right now. I am going to surf until I can't paddle anymore, it is WAY TOO GOOD!” I feel honored to have met him and he will live on in my memories forever. Joe was a true, genuine friend and he kept everyone entertained and always put a smile on your face. My condolences go out to the Milligan family. He will be missed by everyone that had the privelage in meeting him.
