Dear Joe,
I've had your picture hanging up on my desk at work of you jumping so freely into the ocean that you loved since the day I received it. I look at it everyday. In my business of broadcasting, things can get wacky. When I'm at my most stressed out level and I think I'm not going to get my sportscast on the air, I look at you and it reminds me to chill out. Your picture makes me laugh and smile. I will never forget (if I was lucky enough to make the free throw at Guernsey to be a captain) always picking you first to ball. You, Addy and I were a team to be reckoned with on the court. You being able to use the left or right, Addy the fierce rebounder and me jacking up air balls. Throw someone else in on the mix and we were a tough four man team.
I was so glad you went to CofC...Another Edgewater boy to join the coast...We got to share memories in the water, on the court and just hangin' out somewhere in C-town. I've thought of you for a year now, and I will for the rest of my days...The memory of you and your awesome persona lasts in us all.
With love man.
..Your buddie Ben.
